Chris-Tel Construction has completed construction on the Headquarters and Training Facility for Somero Enterprises, Inc. in Fort Myers, Florida. The facility, located at 14530 Global Parkway, is approximately 14,000 square feet and houses their executive team and staff as well as a state-of-the-art training room and machine shop. Somero Enterprises, Inc. manufactures laser-guided and technologically innovative machinery used in horizontal concrete placement, to advance the productivity, concrete flatness and efficiency of a jobsite. Somero Enterprises, Inc. also has locations in Houghton, Michigan; Chesterfield, United Kingdom; and the Qingpu District in Shanghai, China. The Honor Guard from the Lee County Sheriff’s office performed a flag raising ceremony on Monday, April 25th to celebrate the new facility, followed by remarks from Commissioner Cecil Pendergrass and Jack Cooney, Somero CEO. Also in attendance were employee’s family members, the design and construction team and staff from the Economic Development Office of Lee County.
