Michael Robertson, Senior Estimator
Our pre-construction and estimating department continues to grow with the addition of two Senior Estimators, Michael Robertson and Paul Furtaw. Michael started with Chris-Tel Construction in May 2021 and has 39 years of experience in the construction industry. Throughout his career, he has managed a multitude of projects ranging from $500,000 to $1.9B.
Michael is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with a minor in Business Finance and Accounting.
As Senior Estimator, his responsibilities include project estimation, preparing bids and proposals, bid clarification and interpretation, developing scope of work, monitoring work progress as it relates to the budget, negotiation with Owners, providing value engineering, establishing and maintaining relationships with various subcontractors in and around the market.
Paul Furtaw, Senior Estimator
Paul Furtaw joined the Chris-Tel team in February 2021 as Senior Estimator. Paul has 45 years of experience in the construction industry providing conceptual, design-build, and hard bid estimates for a variety of projects to include multi-family, clubhouses, condos, and corporate facilities.
Paul’s responsibilities as Senior Estimator include project estimation, preparing bids and proposals, bid clarification and interpretation, developing scope of work, monitoring work progress as it relates to the budget, negotiation with Owners, providing value engineering, establishing and maintaining relationships with various subcontractors in and around the market.
