The Lee County Government has selected Chris-Tel Construction to provide Construction Manager-at-Risk services to expand the Lehigh Acres Park located on Village Lakes Boulevard. Working with Parker/Mudgett/Smith Architects, Inc. and Johnson Engineering, Inc., the 16.6 million dollar expansion will take place on 34 acres of vacant land. It will include three football fields, restroom facilities, a disc golf course, locker rooms, a concession building, multiple pavilions, and nature trails. Chris-Tel Construction is also upgrading the existing park with a new covered maintenance building, four new pickleball courts, and relocating the batting cages. Construction is slated to be completed in the 4th quarter of 2023.
