Cypress Cove life plan community has pre-sold all 48 units of its independent living expansion before groundbreaking. The gated, luxury retirement home campus expansion, called The Oaks at Cypress Cove, will offer 24 elevated residences and 24 villas with smart home technology conveniences as well as a new clubhouse with numerous high-end amenities.

“The latest consumer research in senior living in Southwest Florida indicated a demand for larger, more modern retirement homes with aging-in-place components,” said Mike Moss, MAML, CSE, vice president of marketing and sales. “We selected the best in the business as far as vested partners and vendors for this project.

We credit our incredible retirement counselors and the visual tools provided by RLPS and Chris-Tel Construction for successfully selling all the units before we even broke ground.”

Located on 12 acres at the corner of Summerlin Road and Bass Road, the project will break ground in April and is expected to be completed by the end of 2023. The construction costs are estimated at $46 million. Cypress Cove is partnering with RLPS Architects, Johnson Engineering and Stantec for the design and Chris-Tel Construction as the construction manager of The Oaks at Cypress Cove.

“Cypress Cove is raising the bar for continuing care retirement communities in terms of the size of the units, the look of the campus, the technology being integrated, and the abundance of amenities being offered,” said Howard Wheeler II, president dent of Chris-Tel Construction. “Chris-Tel Construction is excited to be a part of this cutting-edge project.”

The Oaks at Cypress Cove is designed for older adults to thrive. The two-bedroom and three-bedroom villas range from 2,230-2,396 square feet and offer dens, waterfront screened lanais, designer finishes, large walkin closets and storage areas, and large two-car garages with room for a golf cart.

The elevated residences in the tower offer two-bedroom suites that range from 1,406-1,958 square feet with open floor plans and large walk-in closets. All are corner units to maximize light and view. High-end finishes and a screened multi-view balcony are included. These residences offer short-distance hallways with easy access to elevators as well as under building parking and golf cart parking.

The Oaks clubhouse will offer open-air dining, in-house catering services, a heated outdoor pool with hot tub and cabanas, a firewall feature, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Additional features include pickleball, tennis and a greenway that will connect to the main campus and one of two dog parks.
