Westin Conference Center Construction Begins

Chris-Tel Construction has begun construction on the Westin Conference Center Expansion project at The Westin Cape Coral Resort Marina Village in Cape Coral, Florida. Working in conjunction with Christopher J. Lee Architects, the $15 million facility will feature a 35,000 square foot ballroom addition that has the capacity to divide into six distinct meeting spaces and can accommodate up to 1,250 guests. Other expansion features include a 4,700 square foot pre-function area, a 1,700 square foot terrace overlooking the Caloosahatchee River Estuary, paved parking lot, a timber pedestrian bridge and a porte cochere. Construction will take 14 months to complete and the new conference center will debut in early 2018.
