Chris-Tel Construction provided Construction Manager at Risk services to Lee County under a continuing services contract for the construction of the Boca Grande Pavilion at the Boca Grande Community Center on Gasparilla Island in Lee County.

The pavilion was built to provide an outdoor covered area of approximately 1,600 SF and provide shade and shelter on the existing concrete platform on the North lawn of the Boca Grande Community Center.

The pavilion itself is a simple design with four concrete columns supporting a glulam arched beam roof structure. The pavilion is 20’ high with a 45’ arched span roof consisting of curved metal roofing lightweight reflective panels, acoustical wall panels and 24” diameter reinforced concrete columns. The arched roof not only is aesthetically pleasing, but enhances the acoustics for concerts, events and community engagements.
