Chris-Tel Construction served as the Construction Manager for The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers, building the 92-unit residential community featuring one four-story, garden-style apartment building with ground-floor retail and three freestanding three-story apartment buildings. The residential buildings offer a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments designed to accommodate a diverse range of families.

In addition to the residential units, the administration building provides a management and leasing office, community room, business center, fitness room, maintenance support space, and additional retail space. Outdoor recreation areas and shared community spaces further enhance the development and encourage residents to connect with one another.

Latimer Crossing is part of a broader effort to deliver more than 450 mixed-income housing units throughout the Greater Dunbar area, helping address the community’s growing need for quality, attainable housing. Beyond housing, the Greater Dunbar Initiative is focused on strengthening the community through improved access to education, employment, healthcare, and other essential resources.

Through the completion of Latimer Crossing, Chris-Tel Construction is proud to contribute to a transformative community investment that creates not only new homes, but greater opportunities for Fort Myers families.
