Linhart Street and McCann Intersection

Chris-Tel Construction was selected to provide Construction Manager at Risk services to the City of Fort Myers for the Linhart, Magnolia, and Holly Utility and Drainage Improvements project.

The City of Fort Myers recognized the need to replace utilities on Linhart Avenue and the neighborhood side streets from Cortez Boulevard to U.S. 41.

Chris-Tel Construction completed the replacement of water mains and sanitary sewer pipe and installation of storm drainage pipe and swales on the following roadways: Linhart Avenue, Magnolia Street, Holly Road, McCann Street, Maple Avenue, Sunset Road, Sanders Street, Nelson Street, and Hanson Street. Additionally, Linhart Avenue pavement was widened from approximately 20 feet to 22 feet and McCann Street was improved with an 18-foot paved road from Linhart Avenue to the existing end of road.

The project also included new sidewalk on side streets and replaced sidewalk disturbed during construction. Finally, new driveway aprons and sod were installed, and roads were rebuilt and paved.
