Working in collaboration with Jones Edmunds & Associates, Inc., the project included the construction of an approximately 50,000 square foot covered fabric metal framed building capable of withstanding up to 150 mph winds. The building is equipped with lighting and High-Volume, Low Speed (HVLS) fans that provide air movement within the structure to preserve its integrity and to enhance passive airflow through compost piles. It also has a catch basin to collect the liquids during the composting process. The additional building serves as the compound’s 10th onsite and can house more than double the compost piles compared to its neighboring buildings.

Additional site work included a nearly 3-acre asphalt curing pad for the biosolids and a 4.5-acre asphalt storage area. Repairs were made to a near-acre asphalt area.
