Chris-Tel Construction was selected to provide Construction Management services for the Lee County Government for the construction of the Five Plex Training Facility for the Boston Red Sox.

The scope of this project included erection of the metal building and site development to raise it four feet above sea level (as it was previously below grade and subject to rainwater flooding). Other activities include raised fuel tank pad, installation of perimeter fencing, construction of shower facilities and new office space, and HVAC system upgrades.

The facility includes five fields with bullpens, eight batting tunnels; clubhouse that boasts a spacious meeting room, conference room, kitchen, six offices, locker room and showers, therapy/training room, hydro-therapy room, laundry, umpire and coaches locker room and expanded weight training room. The project was high security to protect the safety of the Boston Red Sox players and staff during spring training.
