Chris-Tel Construction was selected to provide Construction Manager at Risk services to Lee County for the expansion of Lehigh Acres Park.

The Lehigh Acres Park Expansion is a response to the increasing Lee County population, particularly in Lehigh Acres. The expansion significantly enhances the Lee County Parks and Recreation offerings by providing dedicated spaces and facilities for softball, baseball, and football leagues.

This expansion at 1400 W 5th Street, Lehigh Acres, was completed in collaboration with Parker/Mudgett/Smith Architects, Inc., and included the construction of three football fields, restroom facilities, a disc golf course, locker rooms, a concession building, multiple pavilions, and nature trails throughout the 34-acre site.

Additionally, Chris-Tel Construction completed significant upgrades to the existing park, adding a new covered maintenance building, four new pickleball courts, and relocating the batting cages.

The project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget. The residents of Lee County are now enjoying an upgraded park that will continue to benefit the community for years to come.
